i come from a small island in the english channel. i can walk around it in an hour.

Wow, that must be a strange feeling. Have you lived there all your life? How many people on your little speck of land?

I live in a small salmon fishing town in upstate NY (about 30 minutes north of Syracuse) with a population of under 500 people (but, if it's fishing season it's more like 5,000). My town is known for getting some of the most snow in the country.

big city, where everything is in a few miles of me :)

St. Johns, AZ.
Population 3,500
Small Ranching and Farming Community (RURAL)
No traffic lights in our towns.
All of our STOP signs, read "WHOA"!

Talk about being a bunch of backwood hick's!

i live in what was once the biggest ship building town in the world. the borough of Sunderland has around 280,000 of which 177,000 living in the city, i live 5 minutes walk from the city centre.
