Sorry you seem to have made up your mind but weldon 3 or 4 will be garbage. Find a local plastic shop get weldon 40. Do it all correct the first time. I know your in a situation with fish to worry about maybe see if you can find another setup to temporarily work like a plastic bin from Walmart. But do the tank correct and it will last a long time. Weldon 40 the chip. Weldon 40 the inside seam to make sure you strength it. That is the best way to repair it.

Here is the outside chip reglued in. Should I put in the doubblers on the inside or do you think it will be OK. What could have been done better. Thus was my first try at this

looks like you got most of it filled in, I think you be good.

sweet ill let this sit untill tomorrow afternoon that will give it about 36 hours before i start filling it. i tell you what though that #3 evaporates quick. i soaked the one piece and it dried up in like 30 secs.

I have never used #3 , did you dab the edges with the brush to fill in?

no i just put on some latex gloves and used a bottle with a needle on it. i held the parts really close together and soaked both sides twice then stuck them. i gave it a few seconds then started ti use the needle to get as much into the seam as i could.the stuff is water thin so it gets everywhere if your not careful.

well its been two days and it seems to be holding up well. ill post pics when the tank looks a little better lol. it has the usual new tank dirty cloudy look to it lol.
