URGENT!HELP!Please help my "floating" giant

Dear All,

He came my home 2 days ago, since then he always floating like that. Please tell me what's wrong with him and how can I help him?
Is this beacuse of stress? By the way, he start eating goldfish but doesn't a lot.

What are your water parameters? Temp? Tank mates? Size tank? Salt in the water or no?

28C, ph~6-7
I have added only a little salt into the tank
only a few small size indo with him now

he can swim to the bottom some time
Just dunno why he always float on the surface like that

is the tank well aerated? Do you have water circulation?

I guess ok as I can't see nither the ST nor other IT breathing deeply

I had a few thin bars like that, were doing great then a power outage and as a result they are kind of listless and hover. Try to get him to eat, it could be a result of low oxygen. I would do more water changes and see if there's any improvement.

But he seem breathing slowly and normally and other indo don't have the problems.
Therefore, I was worried about that he may have a problem with his swim bladder

Not, if when he comes down he comes down normally..the way you describe it, he sometimes swims down, but prefers to stay up close to the surface...
