yep...add a bit over one table spoon per five gallons.

Hows the ammonia levels? Ususally dats swim up top like that when low aeration, high ammonia, sick. Big dats=bigger aeration.

try salt n temperature raise but add a heavy supply of oxygen for next week or so at least

You need to start doing water changes. Do 30% a day for a week. I am betting bad water

If you're going to increase the temp, make sure you also add extra aeration to compensate for it, because water holds can less oxygen at higher temps. GL with this guy.

In both pics, you Dat appears to be upright. Does it ever tip and then try to right itself? It is also stable and is able to swim to the bottom.

Do you have any hiding spots big enough for it? Sometimes dats will get as close as possible to the surface and try to hide there if there isn't any other choice.

I have no place for it's to hide as I think it's already too big and should be "brace enough"
Today he seem no "head up" but still keep hiding at surface
