URGENT!HELP!Please help my "floating" giant

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Most likely if all your parameters are fine, then it probably is a lack of oxygen. Some fish require more than others. We had a power outtage once and it bothered the oxygen supply and all the fish were swimming at the surface but since then we have invested in an air curtain which the fish love (it must tickle their fins lol) and everything seems to be fine. Air circulation through the water is a must for some fish more than others.

It still not doing very good now, even stop eating. One of my friends said it may because he has swallowd a large fish which stuck inside his stomach and make his swim bladder fail to work properly. I don't know whether it is possible but it was the truth that he has intake one of his tankmate which 2" in size....

well my big tiger has been at 30 for 5yrs never had ANY problems

as for bringing the temp down slow why would you want to drop it

i do 2 x big water changes per week and my temp drops from 86 down to 77 so thats not a slow drop

tigers get white spot and if he is sick he will be more prone to white spot ick

the higher temp is good and i dont think its lack of ox if it was the tiger would have shown big signs of improvement after a few hours not days

I also guess it is not the matter of oxygen, but just try to lower the temperature to 25 to see if any improvement. Actually not much things I can do

drop the temp to 28 min

i hope your tiger gets betters soon
