Urgent Help Required

Hi,

Today i found something hanging out of my oscar's anus. It looks like a nerve or something in skinnish color. My oscar is nt eating anything.

PLEASE HELP.

Could be camallanus. If so, look into a de-wormer. Not an easy disease to eradicate

Can be a rectal prolapse. What have you been feeding?

I googled about camallanus. Its red strings hanging out of anus but mine has a tissue like thing hanging out of anus.

It could be several things as mentioned. Without a good picture it is very diffacult to "guess" at what it might be and give to the correct advise to help you.

Now the oscar suddenly started jumping out of water very vigorously for appro. 1 min. and the thing hanging out of the anus got seperated from it anus.
The oscar felt resless for some time but nw it is swimming ok but doesnot seem comfortable
