Urgent help with Green Tree Frog

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I doubt stress would make it lose use of it's back legs but you never know.

update- he died
i just found him on the bottom on his back

I am sorry to hear that but I really think it was stress. I have seen it happen with small lizards before where they lose the function of their legs and just lay there and appear listless. The best thing you can do is leave them alone and maybe cover the cage most of the day so they do not see you.

im sorry to hear that, greens aren't the prettiest tree frogs out there but there so fun to watch.

as soon as i saw the pics i knew it wouldn't last long. my brother had one, and one day we found it dead with it's legs stretched out, as if it had died mid-jump. sorry for your loss.

Are they WC and have they been treated for Chytrid?

Alot of WC frogs have it and can live with it.... When they get stressed which compromises their immune system anyways the Chytrid can kill them.

I would clean/ bleach the hell out of the tank before I added anything else.. What else was he housed with?

What was you supplementing schedule?
