:(Guys i need help with my monoculus juvies. About 2 days ago one stopped eating, his fins clamped up and he sat at water level gasping heavily for a day, then i found him dead.

Then this morning i notice another juvie doing the same thing, very pale gasping heavily and not eating. He is still alive, barely. An now at feeding time ive got another one doing the same thing.

Three within three days. Amonia is fine ph is fine. water temp is at 27 degrees. the other appear fine but so did these guys.

The only thing i can think of that i have done is water change 3 days ago, but all my other fish are fine and it was done as normal. please help.

do you have any air stones in the tank. posibly not enough oxygen or posibly a paracite.
not to sure never had it happen to me.
what have you been feeding them?

I had a similar problem with mine although they were not juvies one after another stopped eating and begun breathing heavy I lost 3 of my favs, 2 of them were new and thats when the problem begun I suspect they introduced a parasite into the tank, after i lost the 3rd one I treated the tank with a half dose of triple sulpha then treated it again 3 days later then 3 days after that did a 40% WC and so far all is well they are now all eating and behaving the way PBass should.

i did notice some had some white poo a few days ago, although it to me did not look like a parasite? because i had 8 in the one tank i cant tell who had normal poo and who had white poo. It was more clear then white though.

They are contagious, it's pass on from to fish to fish.. See if you can get some Metronidazole, Clout is a good one.
