(Urgent) PRICE IS RIGHT?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you can do what you want. But more than likely that FH will kill everything in there or youll have a bunch of unhealthy stunted fish when after 6 months or less they are all in the 6" + range and ready for war.
Everyones just trying to help...in the end its your money

Clean set up and with delivery... sure why not.

IMO it is impossible for anyone that isn't close to his area to give a valid opinion on how good of a deal that is or isn't. I wouldn't give that much for it, but in my area similar set-ups are easily available much cheaper. Maybe around him they are not.

Don't discount the value of free delivery. That itself is worth quite a bit. Since he does not have a car, free delivery is even more valuable.

Ultimately, it is up to you, but free delivery can't be that common. You might not find another deal offering it.

Well im only thinking of keeping this 4ft tank for MAX a year n half - 2 years (if money is an issue) then off course upgrading... 2 years should be fine for a FH and GT?

maybe..
FH should be around a foot by then and GT in the 6-8" range.
might work if you get lucky

^^ yeah but after 1 and half - two years guranteed UPGRADE... lol... but guys i love my FH hes so calm, i keep him with clowns, jewels, rainbow sharks... he just goes and chases the jewels around a bit and thats about it...

and i fell in love with this GT i saw at the shop, SAME size as the FH around 3 inches

I just saw the tank and im 100% sure its more that 55 gallons... a bit over 4ft in legnth (125 cm) and 1.5 ft in height...

And i think a FH, Oscar, GT and JD will be fine, none of them are big im getting them VERY small (2 inches or so).... and the tank is pretty big man?

However i might just get a FH GT and an Oscar

just because you get them small doesnt mean they will stay small. they wont be fine. the fish will soon outgrow the tank. you are wanting to put 4 large aggressive fish into a small tank. the oscar will get over a foot easy and same with your flowerhorn. bad idea.

What about if i keep a Flower Horn .... and GT and other not so DEMANDING fish? or FH or JD? which combination is better?

and honestly with two filters, 2k ltire per hour pump... i think two main fish wont be bad...

Cause honestly, if you need to follow perfect rules for every fish, 80% fish keepers cant keep the fish they want due to tank and home size.

i say get the tank, it seems like a good deal for your area but personally i would not pay more than $150 for that setup. And pick 1 of those fish you want to stock it with, im not a huge believer that a 12" fish cannot sustain a healthy life in a 55 gallon, so i would say you'll be fine with one and some dithers or some nice smaller catfish.. but if you really want a few cichlids, seriously rethink which ones you pick, go for a severum or other calm compatible cichlids

depends on where you live. I dont think it is a steal by any means. its sounds like its a 55 gallon tank and petco by me just ahd a sale for 55$ for one.
