Does anybody know if i can use my fish tank water to water plants in my yard?

Water cost are rising where i live so i want to save as much water as possible by using my old fish tank water during water changes to water my garden.

I plan on watering plants that can eventually be consumed. example: papaya, corn, green onions etc..

The products i use in my tank are seachem prime, aquarium salt, and fish food. My filters are aquaclear 110's so the media is carbon, bio rings, and the sponge.

Any thoughts? input?

Thank you MFK

best water your plants can get.

You use salt, does that mean your tank is SW and if so then no you can't use the water. Salt will burn the plants

 Go for it.

no, it is not a SW tank. sorry for the confusion. I use aquarium salt when my fish are sick or when i add new fish so there is some in there. The reason im asking this questions is because of the seachem prime mainly...these plants im watering will eventually be eaten so i wasnt sure if it would be harmful to my families health.

i use the tank water to water the yard though it doesnt rlly matter since i get free water!:headbang2:nilly:
