Using fish water for your garden

i heard you can use your water from your tank to water your plants and its better for the plants has anyone ever tried or no if it's true

I gravel-wash/drain over 2,000 gallons from my tanks into my veggie gardens each week. My wife's tropical plants and bamboo are also watered with aquarium water. Works like MiracleGrow.

yep, i use the nasty gravel-cleaned brown water and just dump them on my mom's plants. never seen a problem with it
