Haven't used melafix with my rays but I used to swear by it in the past. For those who say it does nothing, you perhaps were using a different melafix than I was using in the past because when I used it, it worked wonders.
In my experience it either heals or kills depending on the cause of the problem. Not rays just general experience. I have used it and continue to do so..
