uv sterilizer question

no i have like 5 or 6 days on shipping left they should arrive saturday and i should have it by sunday, fathersday to myself

I let them both stay on 24 hours a day.

But I'm considering letting one stay on for the first 12 hours of the day, and the second one for the remaining 12 hours to prolong the life of the bulb, but I think I'm just going to let them stay on.

However in the last few days there has come some hair algae in my tank.

I think it's because I removed 60% of the egeria densa plants before the cycle is done.

So I'm going to get some otos and black Molly's to get rid of it when cycling is finished.

Sweet 24 hours! I've been doing like 8 and it's cleared the water clarity pretty well so 24 will ice the cake. I only got one just in case it didn't work but for a canister and the price this thing is well worth the money

Nice!

Good to hear it works!

I'm mostly using mine to make the water look clean and algae prevention, but the added benefit of adding to the health of the fish is a nice bonus.
