Wow! ;)

Solid Tiger collection all giant size. Hope u can share your tank size and water change regimen . What filtration u using sure must be tip top condition . Thx in advance :) .

Very nice Andy-good to know there's some Widebars still in the UK. What do you feed the Tigers in general? And how bigs the set-up?

Not many UK ST widebars left unfortunately, only four that I'm aware of.
Tank size is 250 x 90 x 100cm high, actual water volume more like 245 x 85 x 90 so allowing for displacement etc and then the extra from the filtration, I think the real water volume is around 1875 litres, 420 UK gallons or 500 US gallons.
Filtration is currently 3x Eheim 2080, 2 x Eheim 2060, 1x Fluval FX5 and 1x Tetratec EX2400 but plan is to change those to a 350 litre outdoor filter with just two of the externals left running. Have drilled the holes through the glass - which was very scarey while it was full of water and fish - but not through the house wall yet!
All filter outlets are at one end of the tank and inlets at the other to create a current which is also circulated faster by 2x Eheim 1260 and a Fluval 4Plus. As well as increasing the flow, these help pick up bits of rubbish to polish the water.
Water pH is 7.2 but trying to get that up to 7.8. Temperature 26C. Nitrates usually around 20 but phosphates can be really high no matter what I do, one of the problems with big messy fish.
Water changes twice a week, 25 - 35%. Fresh water straight in from the hosepipe with Seachem Prime thrown in the tank. This may drop the temperature to 21C in the winter but that hasn't bothered them in the 3 years this tank's been established.
Feeding is 2 out of 3 days with lancefish, prawns and earthworms. Only one, the smallest NTT, will take massivore.
Will try to get some better pictures of the NTT and something it can be seen next to to get an idea of its real size.

All my dats are pellet trained andy :D
Good to hear my old little thinbar is eating massivore. Keep it on dry, u never know, he may catch up with the big NTT over several years...

Once u have that sump set up, it will save u lots of time in tank maintenance.

A few more than four left in uk,i know of 6 and that's without the 4 i'm sure you are thinking of Andy.Tank looks good!

Alright Ade-don't rub it in :nilly:! I still can't get my big Indo on pellets even after 6 weeks of starving
