i agree you get what you pay for. but sometimes people get lucky. the chances of that aren't that great in my opinion so i wouldn't count on it.

You will never get the same colour out of an XB and an rtg, it may look similar, but nowhere near the same. Just because shine level reaches 6th row does not mean the colours are the same lol. Most of these so called 6th level shine rtgs are kept in pure white tanks. Drop it in a black tank for a few days and you'll be left with just another rtg.

I never mentioned anything about color.... was just talking about shine. a HBRTG with 6th level shine is amazing. And if the HBRTG is in a white tank right now then yes the shine will fade dramatically once the aro is placed into a tank with darker background.

If the Aro is in a white tank right now then.. yes be cautious cause the aro;s shine will fade dramatically once its placed in a tank with black background. I have also heard of other tricks fish stores have to boost colour like feeding hormones. Also depending on PH level that can alter and help with color as well. In the end if you like the aro and it is being sold at a reasonable price then get it. But dont have your hopes up for the aro becoming anything more than a HBRTG. But if the HBRTG still maintains its 6th level shine then you probably got a better deal than many other people that bought HBRTGs.

White back grounds sounds like seller is causing a tempory illusion. Surely in your part of the world it must be a lot cheaper and easier to source high quality aro's? I'm having to import from you country on trust and farm's rep. You not able to buy top notch aro fry direct from farm?

Yes there are alot and very nices dragons here, but some are costly, and my budget is less then 1k. so i was introduced to a V.I.P High Back, and its $500SGD. so i went with it. so what dragon did you get? and from which farm?

Havn't got it yet , hopefully in the 2 weeks. The farm is wan hu violet fussion which is jazzed up name for super red with purple ish base eventually. 500 sgd is roughly 220 pounds sterling that is cheap. Could you not by fry cheaper from platinum, super red etc from your door step?
