Is anyone into rhinocerous and stag beetles. I started getting interested in them, but i've never tried my hand at insects before. I saw some awesome looking japanese rhino beetles and hercules beetles. Anyone keep them? Are they even available or legal in the US? How much? Where do you get them? I was a little put off by their life span as adults of only 4-5 months, but I think it is worth it. Any info would be great :)

Lots of awesome bugs, but that's usually what put me off.
 
ugh, I just read that they live as maggots for up to 5 years, and then only a few months as adults :(
 
so, i've put off more people than i've attracted? dang...LOL
