Vacuuming the Tank

i think your being far to paranoid about the whole thing. Everytime i go in to do maintenance on my tank it never even crosses my mind that i could be bit. Becuase piranhas are naturally very shy as soon as you make a move towards one of them he is going to freak out and swim to the other side of the tank.

form the sounds of it your saying you haven't done any maintenance ont his tank before? not even water changes ?

I do water changes as stated earlier every few days as with vacuuming. I spend alot of time with my fish.

I was asking about when they're much bigger, right now they're small about 1"

i got a 6 inch an 2 small 3 inch rbp's in my tank an i put my hand in it usually everyday to get somethin out an i have never been bit. an my 2 small one's are for sale check the illinois region for more info.
 
im with zander i have 5 and i never think about it and i feed my fish live mice and they are pretty aggressive they are not shy at all but if they come to close i just push them away with the vacuum
