Now I have hit a road block! I haven't caught him in the act yet as he lighting fast but appears as though the Vittatus is biting the tails of the thin bars silver dollars on a more regular basis. I pulled one over a month ago to heal up in the growout tank and not long after he bit the tail right down to nothing again. I just put a thin bar back in the growout tank to heal just to find another one today with it's tail bit. I might have to pull the silver dollars and replace them with the pbass from my 450.

Holy balls I forgot about that pic.

One can never afford to underestimate what these fish are capable of! All ATF are serious predators and I know that I especially am sometimes guilty of forgetting what they are and what they can do!

btw that Flagtail is still alive today. Doing fine except without any fins. lol

This fish is hard to photograph due to the 9 silverdollars. They keep getting in the way so here is a lame updated one. Maybe I should just let the vittatus eat all the silver dollars so I can video and photograph him better. I will try a video tomorrow.
