Def not scombs. Take a pic of a scomb and put it next to ur fish. There is a substantial difference. I've had all 3. Scombs tats and armys. Atm i have an 8"+ army in my 1500 gal tank while it is cycling and ur fish are def not scombs. They are worth much more so its a plus for you bud!

Thank you for your help! They're still small so I wasn't 100% on them but I'm glad they're armatus cause that's what I was looking for!

There is some pretty good information in the "payara buyer's guide" which is a sticky at the top of the page in the Other Characins subforum,check it out when you get some time.
