I hoped to show some pictures by now, but the female is still holding some pups! I expected here to have given birth to all pups by now?

Does anyone know how often it occurs that females give birth over such long periods of time?

The Gestation period for Hystrix is longer than with most Potamotrygon however to have the pups days apart seems a little strange....Wimm,can you still see movement?

Yes the pups are still moving, I hope all goes well

i had a motoro give birth to 3 pups one day and the rest of the pups about 2 weeks later. not sure why this happened but all the pups were healthy and survived

im sure it has something to do with them having 2 uterus.

you should try and get the birth on video, set up your web cam or something that would be cool
