Very Sad Day for me today..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've been there with the most special of my dogs and I know the pain you're feeling. What an honor she had to be so loved all her life.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I lost my dog in January and I am still having a hard time with it all, they are a part of you just like any family member and to loose them doesn't hurt any less.
I wish you all the best, think of the great moments because those will go on forever! :)

sorry for the loss liz
and i know foxy had a happy 18 yrs with you

thanks again everyone.. All of us animal lovers know that when we open our hearts and our home.. to a pet.. we also open our selves up to the pain.. as i sit here now i feel that awful feeling inside..that all the tommorrows i had with my foxy are gone.. but the pain is soothed by the many years of happiness..because i still feel her presense and always will..and i certainly think its worth it.

I totally agree with you Liz! You got me all misty eyed!

God Blessed Us {For All the dogs we lost}

I'll lend you, for a little while,
My grandest pup," He said.

For you to love while he's alive
And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be one or fifteen years,
Or days or months, you see.
But, will you, till I take him back,
Take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you,
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have treasured memories
To bring solace in your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But, there are lessons taught on earth
I want this dog to learn.

I've looked the wide world over
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes
With trust, I have selected you.

Now will you give him your total love,
Not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come
To take him back again?

I know you'll give him tenderness
And love will bloom each day.
And for the happiness you've known
Forever grateful stay.

But should I come and call for him
Much sooner than you'd planned,
You'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And someday understand.
