vid of my silver aro and tank

i don't know i'm just going off what i was told it's still a big tank...i'm building one of two ponds soon one dim10'x10'x3' the other depends were i move to but the dim for that one are 50'x75'x6' inside a heated pullbarn i plan to have orange trees and tropical plants like my own little rainforest! awsome! big pond contence-aripima,big cats and whatever i can put in without getting eatten maybe some pacu their teeth creep me out their like old man teeth uh!:barf:

He's a beautiful fish. I'm not familiar with ropefish -- he's a squiggly one, to be sure! Beautiful tank... whether it's a 170 or a 200!

Sounds cool. Heating a barn to plus 80 degrees in middle of a Minnesota winter, your power company is gonna love you.
 
no they will hate me i plan to use a boiler system to heat it and a lot of insulation it will have a sunning winow system of some type that i plan to have a way to open so in summer it wont cook everything inside...i have had alot of time to plan:D now that i am temp. unemlpyed:irked: boycote target and 7up;)
 
bderick how many aros you got? and how many got de? i was thinking about the injury cause vs genetics i saw you have the baby blacks watch for crashes to "test" one aspect of the theroy.
 
You have to burn something to run the boiler, most ecomonical would be gas. Power co sells the gas.

I have 7 aros, 2 are silver 5 are black. Less then 1% of black aros posted have DE. Of course I will watch them, that's the whole point of keeping fish. Only the silvers have DE.
 
i know a log home builder and i have a state forest permit to cut dead trees so wood is readily avalible to me at the cost of driving my truck and trailor to get it.
