I guess you cant stop love. I came in to the office to do waterchanges yeterday evening and started on the RTM tank. I noticed the female made it across the divider some how onto the males side. So I had to move some deco arround and scoop her up to put her back on her side. As I was doing the water change I noticed fertilized eggs! So I pulled the divider to see what went on since I had already done a 50% water change on the tank and disturbed every one pretty good. The male seemed to be beating on the female pretty good keeping her off the eggs despite her trying to fend him off. I dont know if that is normal for these and I was thinking I think I disturbed them too much. I am going out of town for for a week so I didn't want to chance anything in such a small tank (30 long). So back in went the divider but I decided, since the female still showed interest in the eggs, to put her on the males side that has the eggs and put the male on the females side. So we will see how it goes...I leave tuesday and will return on sunday.
