The pond is 12ftx24ftx4ft w/ a 3 stage homemade filter.
Pond houses:
2 tsnxrtc... very pretty and gentle
2 L. picusxrtc... very shy
2 L. pictus... Always out and ready to eat. Might eat more then the rtc
above cats are all about 32-36in
3 Koi... japan import about 15 years ago. I started with 25 and sold them over the years always keeping the largest fish.
1 rtc...40in (maybe larger, hard to measure without catching) She runs the pond!! i find nice marks on the smaller fish from time to time.
1 S.planiceps...44-46in!! got him when he was only 1.5in! Hes my favorite fish besides my moba frontosas. hes colors and pattern are awesome. Hes loves monkey chow (lg floating pellets and yes in will cloud water if you over feed) Ill work on a video of that!!
I do weekly 100% water changes and filter cleanings. I have well water so the fish love the fresh, mineral filled water and chlorine free water.

what did you make the pond out of, im thinking of doing something similar, ive been looking at cattle and large animal troughs, stuff like that, what did you use?????
I made it with cinder block, rebar and cement about 15 years ago. I just coated it with epoxy from AES 2 years ago after the 3rd leaking liner. epoxy is awesome! Looks better and dirt doesnt get trapped in liner's wrinkles/folds in corners and comes in colors other then black.
