Gorgeous fish guys! I just picked up a beautiful specimen myself (not nearly as big as yours yet.....only about six inches or so).

Looks like two males just from the head profile of both. I've had a couple of pair of Argentea, the one thing I've always noticed is the freckling seems to be much less pronounced on the females. Especially in the fins.

Ha. You're apologizing for what? Driving 4 hours out to GIVE me a fish? We both thought it was female.
Hope you locate a viable sized female, I have the opposite problem with my tank, one large male, one small male, and four females. I was hoping for at least two spawning pairs however I may have to put the smaller male in a seperate tank and grow him out.
