I'm really beginning to like viejas and am planning on ordering one from Rapps. (hopefully wild :naughty:) I don't know what species to get though.
I want something extremely colorful. It doesn't matter how rare/expensive they are, it just has to be a large, eye-catcher. I'm looking for something with yellows, greens, pinks, and purples. So what is it?

I like black belts and synspilum, but I want to make sure that I'm choosing the right species.

Thanks in advance...

I like regani and you do not see a lot of them here is one tha tI used to own. It came from Rapps originally http://bluegrasscichlids.com/component/option,com_flickurpicpro/Itemid,70/Set,72157603998691165/

heterospilus is another one that is kind of cool, because it is not very common. I have a small group of them that I am slowly growing out.

Both of which you mentioned are beautiful. I think the regani is a bit blue though. I'm mainly looking for some intense yellows and purples with some occasional green and blue. The heterospilus is very nice, do you have any pictures of a nice adult male?

That was gonna be one of my suggestions, also Rapps had some Bifas a not to long ago. I believe they were of the Chaca race which has a lot of yellow and reds.

:) The most colorful I've seen would probably be the Fire Head (vieja synspila) Sorry I don't have a picture but maybe someone does or you can search for comparison. "T"

Thanks everyone, really narrowing it down now :)

Which one of these?

Bifasciatus
Synspilum
Fenestratus
Maculicauda
Heterospilus

Rarity is also highly appealing to me, so this should be factored in...
Cast your votes. :)
