Thanks everyone, really narrowing it down now :)

Which one of these?

Bifasciatus
Synspilum
Fenestratus
Maculicauda
Heterospilus

Rarity is also highly appealing to me, so this should be factored in...
Cast your votes. :)

Well, IMO the most common on your list are Syns, Fene and BB. I've yet to see a real bifas in person, most I see are actually Fene or hybrid.
Of those common three I prefer Fene or BB. Most Fene look really good. Not all BB do IMO but that also depends on what kind of BB you like. I like BB's with really thick black belts, slate body color and lots of red and green in the fins which you're not gonna get every time you pick up a BB. You could get one with hardly any belt who's more light gray overall and more blue in the fins.
If you look through pictures of bifas there are many geographical variants. The red Rio Chacamax Race is stunning but I have noticed that some individuals are more yellow base than red.
The rarest of your list is heterospilus. They're pretty and neat looking. I like the jumble of blue, brown and green color on them.
If it was up to me I'd pick Bifas but Fene's would come in close second.

I think this is an old thread and he probably got it already.
