Vieja is a genus of cichlids. There are like twenty different species, but the one you want gets big like 20in last time I checked. Some of the more aggressive ones like black belts and argentinas arent community fish at all.

I would say no.

Just watch your water since you are near over stocking, but manageable imho for someone who knows his stuff

That's great news as I don't really want to get rid of tex. I do 50% water change every week so not worried about that side of things but near over stocking makes me a little nervous. I just like to give my fish a bit of room to move. Thanks everyone for your help.
