Yeah,moving them is no walk in the park.I relocated my tall one from the front yard to the back and it took me a full day to dig it up properly without damaging the root/tuber...and it did wear out my back.

yes..so if any one likes them and plants them.. make sure you plant where it will be forever...lol
 
I pulled my 'weed', along with a few others. Got ants in my garden. I'm going to try cornmeal. Heard it will kill the ants.

Diatomaceous earth works too, but slowly. Needs to be food grade and applied regularly.
 
question about a fruit tree

will some fruit trees skip a season of growing fruits? if so, is it stress of a move or new soil that can cause this?

i'm pissed because I have a Loquat I've been looking forward to. I got nothing and my brother has the same trees and his are giving him plenty of golf ball-sized Loquats that will soon be ready to eat

what the hell gives??
 
In the first year after moving, they don't normally produce well.. could be location/soil, though.
