And it was also with the help of guns that slaughtered native americans (THE REAL AMERICAN)
Guns didn't win any war, the will of a solider did... risking his/her life to keep what they believed in alive...
And a "REAL MAN", doesn't need a gun to defend himself. Any scared pathetic person can pull a trigger to a gun and end some ones life in the blink of an eye. But its takes a "REAL MAN" to stand in front of his enemies and look in them eyes...
This is the dumbest thing I've heard in a LONG time. The "will of a soldier" using his weapon in the line of duty wins wars. Have you ever been in a firefight?! I have! A firearm at a soldiers side is what enables victory. It's what enables that soldier to finish his tour and come home to his family.
And again a "real man" doesn't need a gun to defend himself? Really? Have you ever dealt with the criminal element of society? How about a woman? My wife knows how to use a 9mm better than most and it's simply to defend herself and her kids if some freak comes into the house in the middle of the night.
I do agree a gun is a last resort weapon and it's use should be avoided if at all possible. And I agree that guns are WAY too glorified in modern American society, but they do have their place.
As far as a "real man" looking his enemy in the eyes that can happen all too easily even using a firearm.
