I really don't do Vista, but someone else that i know does they told me that you should be able to go back in time using the Vista bkup ultity, that is if you have it turned on. You shouldn't loose any data information using this app.,

Good luck.

Wow, now that is some serious dedication. Pushing on with your research despite putting your computer containing all of you hard work in jeopardy for the betterment of society and a stronger understanding of the perils facing us in these new, technologically advanced times. The difficulties facing you as you pound it out through the trenches as dreams turn to nightmares, and the beautiful to ugly. Oh wait... that's just because porns gonna be coming out in HD.

:D

Anyways, cheers to vaseline on the lens, and good luck with your computer's STD.

Sorry, I don't have any advice on fixing viruses.

I've been running my Mac for over two years with no virus protection of any kind. :headbang2

i dont really think it matters what OS you use.
If you put your computer at risk, like looking at porn, your more likely to get it then someone who just surf MFK.

change your internet browser to Firefox, firefox have really good security IMO. or to opera or something else of your choice. i wouldn't use IE. When i used firefox i usally never get a virus, even when i know that im putting it at risk of getting a virus.

I do use Mozilla as my web browse =-(

Anyhow's, problem has been fixed by using a combination of Ad-ware & Malwarebyte..

Thanks for all the suggestions..
