Lol,and they all are well aware that when they are given that time slip by the officer the visit is over and they are to stand and walk toward the changing/search area.Most of them have no problem complying with the instruction but every once in a while you have someone who wants to show off.The visiting room is a large area full of unrestrained inmates of various charges at any given time during visiting hours.Its pretty much a riot waiting to happen.The officers don't generally have handcuffs but imagine trying to place a pair on an irate inmate who has an audience.

Sooo the sucker punch to the inmate was called for ? or the second guards gang style attack was justified ? hmm seems legit lol
This is where "exactly" belongs imo.
As soon as as you're disobeying, you're subject to being corrected. So what if it's a sucker punch, why is twisting someone up better?? And how could you give the second guard any grief in a situation like this?? Should he have asked what's going on first?
He wouldn't take the time to do that and as was seen in the video when someone arrives to assist all they initially see is another officer in a physical struggle and that officer could very well be very injured...as long as the inmate is still moving or resisting he is considered dangerous.
At the point the one comes through the door, the prisoner is still throwing punches. Sorry, can't say that him coming in swinging wasn't warranted there.
I figure, no CO should ever be in a 1 on 1, alone situation for an inmate restraint.
I know that's not always possible, but 1 on 1 is a big recipe for disaster.
