I finished my 60-P after it had been sitting empty on my floor since february... Now, i'm just waiting for the plants to fill in.

here are the specs:

ADA 60-P
Eheim 2215 (diy acrylic pipes)
Stand from Ikea
10 lb. co2 tank
Victor two-stage regulator w/ Clippard solenoid Fabco needle valve
70w 8000k MH from fishneedit

Flora:
HC, DHG sp. belem, HM

the critters will go in once the tank is cycled.

i'm planning on plugging more HC in there to fill it up faster. i bent some conduit to hang my light fixture, but i need to drill some holes through it to attach the suspension brackets.

i will also be cutting some poster board for a backround. one black one and one white one with a backlight

That is gonna look really sweet once the plants fill in. The hardscape is awesome....reminds me of this tank I found online and have been envying for months-

my tank has been inundated with brown hair/string algae. i increased the co2 and put in stem plants to absorb the nutrients. also did a 30% WC. hope the algae goes away. my original plants don't seem to be doing so well, so hopefully things pick up... if the algae persists, i might do a black out for a few days...
