Im afraid the fish will chow down on the mushrooms!I do have some pretty blue ones...hey! I might be able to catch that nasty lil threespot damsel.....cool

you only need this if your breeding pair are ugly.this way they get prettier the drunker they get and will mate and then drink the rest of the bottle yourself and keep away from all members of the opposite sex or you may have babies as well:D

Just to be clear, I hope everyone is being sarcastic. Getting your fish drunk is a very stupid and costly mistake. But hey it's your money and conscience so go ahead.

"Clove oil (eugenol) is available at any drug store and is sold as a toothache remedy. It has been used for years as a fish anesthetic for surgeries and tagging procedures. Clove oil will put a fish to sleep and ensure it feels no pain. However the fish can wake up from this sleep if removed from the clove bath. The last step of adding the vodka will ensure the fish expires. "

Expires=death

It works very well but make sure to do it very slowly. I don't have an issue reducing nitrates but using vodka has helped with phosphates.

Keeps your fish happy, and makes em forget they are stuck in a small box instead of still in lake michigan :ROFL:

I have read it's a painless way to euthanize fish.

Seriously, I wouldn't risk any alcohol in any of my tanks.

Maybe there's a very scientific precise dose thats benifitial but I wouldn't do it.

I've heard the same thing about euthanizing them. I always though any alcohol in your tank will kill your fish. Every time I have big parties I never let anybody near my fishroom.
