25 will be ok but 22 may be too cool. Maybe an Asian Arowana may tolerate the 22 degree celsius I personally don't know.
Aren’t Asian arowanas found in Southeast Asia where temps are high since it is a tropical rainforest climate? I don’t know either, just wondering.

they are found. but since they are left few in numbers. the ksa government has banned them

Oh I see you relating about the temp for arowana. i managed to increase my pond temp a bit should be fine in it

Recently prices of arowanas, both Asian and american in SEA here are reducing, due to high surplus of them. I didn’t think they were few in numbers, perhaps in the wild.

prices dropping here in SG to nearly $100-200!! Fingers crossed, maybe soon the ban would be lifted? They don’t seem to be as endangered anymore with so many arowana breeding facilities in Asia especially in Malaysia and Thailand.

I feel like it’s not a good thing, really destroying the aquarium trade here with the supply exceeding demand, and the way Asian arowanas used to be admired for their beauty and price, now seems like anyone can own them…

i hope the ban is also lifted here. BTW one asian arowona from a private seller here costs about 2600 dollars
