Imagine Australia, one pea puffers costs nearly $300AUS

Pea puffers cost $300 in Australia?! Here in Texas pea puffers don't go over $20, and honestly more like $10.

Yes. Fish prices are insane in Australia because of the import bans and restrictions/tariffs I think? I’m not too sure, perhaps someone from Australia can correct me. Senegal bichirs there can cost $400 as well, I’ve seen a thread here somewhere…

Considering a single pea puffer can fetch up a price to $300, aussies still have a high demand for those puffers. That’s why if I were to ever live in Australia I myself would start own breeding projects. Probably could live off selling fish.
