Vulture Catfish

Hi' All,

I picked up this tiny vulture catfish today at Pier Aquatics, only a few inch's but should grow nice and fast.
Brilliant catfish and there are a load left at a good price at pier if anyone in the UK is looking for them.
This is a very active catfish and as soon as i put it in the tank it was eating left over foood from the bottom of the tank so definatly not fussy!

Most likely It never stops eating or moving ! they had some bigger one's at the shop but with the growth rate went with the cheaper and smaller option. Only wish i had got a few !

They have hydrolicus which i grabbed one, they had an awsome white shoft shelled turtle in the big tanks as you come in, was tempted with the Uaru and parrot cichlids.
Was thinking about the nice looking giant gourmi's but neil said the type in their tend to get agressive as they get bigger. They have tigernus but they're soooo small!

One day i will walk away with the 3 big niger cats they have !

My lfs has hydrolocus at the moment but they are only on feeders and i cant be doing with the hassle lol, what prices were the little tigs? pier is the best shop ive been in for all types of fish, never been in another shop with 6 types or ray in at once!
