I picked up a 5" at my LFS and I swear I never saw her eat for a month. Or come out of her hidey hole for that matter. She probably was (eating) and probably did (come out), I suspect yours are too. Put some food down there and leave them alone. Change out your filter media incase it gets gummed up. The Sinking Hikari Cichlid Pellets work well and don't disolve quickly. That's the blue bag. Cucumbers are good too. Stick them on a fork and drop it in. Stick it in the meaty outside edge though; they like the middle. Sinking Hikari Carnivore Pellets are also super yummy to the bigger guys.
