The deep south
Reverting hard in my older yrs of keeping...this is where it all started...and this is what keeps me going. Those in this section will not be too surprised im sure lol... but i took a bit of a hiatus in the cat game to ensure the proper husbandry of my s.glanis. Had this little cat relapse to light some fire under me to get going again on my builds/projects.

Have you updated your 3000 gal blog? Is the wels still in 650 gal?

Beautiful redtail! I've long loved the cats as well but have been without for a long time now. If only I had as many set ups as you. Would be awesome to see this guy with the wels at some point.

Haha yeah, been waiting here patiently for space for a few more aquisitions on my "wish list"... and the 3k build is soon to come again. Ive been busy up here moving things around to make room for it. After having my 1400 liner tank leak to fish teeth ive decieded to do full fiberglass/resin on the 3k. no more headaches down the road for me hopefully. Wels is still in the 650 until his new tanks done. hes beefin up at 50" these days. Def time to get busy building/ordering more materials. Im almost there :).

Update...got this guy back in early April of this year so its been about 5 months with me. Grown from 6-7" to a solid 16". Just coming around to hand feeding now which is my favorite part of keeping any large cat. He feeds on massivore pellets every other day and is still in a 197 gal. 7'x22"x24" with a 4gph autodrip.
