WAITED TWO YEARS FOR THIS...(PICS)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have searched for best flowerhorns in Australia for 2 years...none have come close to this...in color YES...in pearls...MAYBE...in KOK..yes... but ALL THREE high quality? None.. I would actually like to see someone in Australia, present a fish with such pearls...kok(head) and coloring...at 10cm.

Open challenge :P Kamfa Malau breed of FH..is the first strain to be here...

Some History

Australian flowerhorns are of low grade... we are not allowed to bring in high quality FH. A red dragon (Normal RED flowerhorn) is $400 in Australia...

A king kamfa Malau is out of question... I have searched for years...years...to find a good QUALITY FH in Australia...with head size..color...and pearls...

If someone can post a picture of a FH with this combination from Australia... I would love to see it. Even google, could not get me a screwed up image lol...

So when I say the money value...compared to where I live, and HOW HARD it is to buy fish here....especially flowerhorns... by the way guys I LOVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM please don't hesitate to share your opionions! lol

I dunno, man. that particular post number is creeping me out. LOL
might be a bad sign.
;-))

LOL fine ill make it 667 !!

I'm gonna be nice and tell ya the truth.
You should have Mods move this thread to the Flowerhorn and Other Cichlid Crosses forum, where you can get the right ppl in on it.

On one of your numerous other threads pertaining to this topic a fellow aussie posted pics and decent prices for fh that are being sold in a local store

That is quite the stunner. But dude... $1000 that's a serious chunk of change. If you can afford it and truly love the fish, then by all means buy it. If I had a $1000 fish, and it died I think I would cry. Good luck, make the decision that makes you happy.

Many flowerhorns don't live past 3 years, and since flowerhorns are that rare, the few breeders there are probably inbreed the hell out of them. More likely for death. 1000+ $ sure is a lot for 2 or even if it lives 10 years+, that's a lot of money hahaha. If you do buy it, get a female also and try to breed them, if they are seriously worth only ~200 that's still so much money if you get an active breeding pair hahahaha. Then you can breed some of the children and spread it out, make a business! I guess gotta spend money to make money...

Personally im not at all a fan of FH... So to spend even $50 on one would be completely outta the question... Even if it was that one, and given to me for free i wouldnt take it...

But i can see where your coming from, since if i saw a true cross river puffer i'd probably be willing to drop some serious cash to own one too...

So what i'm saying is, if you have the money to spare and feel you absolutely must have this fish... Then more power to you...

Thank you guys... and yes flowerhorns are said to not live long... and I plan to grow him to 15cm...and buy a sweet female for him :)

And pray...some of the fry have his strain :) I want to participate helping Aussie FH lovers, get some good quality!

You guys reckon this baby is worth breeding? He is the only of his kind in Aus.
