Wal-mart shrimp vs sea food store shrimp.

Who here feed they rays with the clean prepared wal-mart shrimp and who use fresh shrimp from other grocery store?

Im thinking about buyinh the clean 1lb bag myself it may be cleaner and safer. I'm buying the fresh shrimps with sometime with the head still on it.

When i feed shrimp I normally buy it from Kroger as well. Pre packed. I usually wait till it's on sale and buy a bunch.

Walmart only but saltwater rays. Not my tanks but my father makes my mom get it eveyetime she goes there lol

If you can figure out the country of origin for both sources of shrimp, choose the one (or ones) that are from the US (for both fish and human consumption). Same with Tilapia.

Shrimp and Tilapia from China (and Central America) are often farmed in human waste and dosed with anti-biotics. Not what you'd want in your body or your fishes'...

I buy shrimp from the local grocery store that is wild caught from the Gulf of Mexico. I don't buy shrimp anymore that is farm raised.
