Wal-Mart Special??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wal-Mart doesn't care about the legal or humane treatment of its workers...let alone fish.

For a variety of reasons, I quit shopping at Wal-Mart - PERIOD - several years ago. While I realize that by shifting my purchases to other stores that I alone won't make a difference...I refuse to support a corporation that I find unethical (and unpleasant)

Matt

PS One more reason not to shop at Wal-Mart: A recent survey found Target to have lower prices than Wal-Mart: http://consumerist.com/2011/03/is-target-now-cheaper-than-walmart.html

Why not write a letter and give it to the manager complaining about inhumane treatment of animals and cc WalMart Headquarters, the local humane society or spca? I think it would be better than you feeling forced to buy the fish and they just order more.

about 5 years ago the local walmart here in ct sold my brother a 10 inch silver arrowanna for a dollar!!! they had no clue what kind of fish it was and they said they didnt order it. so they rang it up for him for a buck.... lil bastard always gets the good deals lmoa

The Wal-marts here do a pretty bad job too like 25 oscars in a 10 gal. But remember the worst thing you can do for the fish is buy it. Not only do you use your money but you give to the store and cause them to re-order. Its been said before but If you care about fish or any animals you have to see the sence in letting 1or even 100 die to save 500 or 1000. A while back a group in my town stated a boycott of the fish at wal-mart and as a result they no longer sold them. Now we have another Wal-mart open and they sell again, were not far off from a public boycott again

walmart is all that is evil.. the countries benefits follow that crap store.. my they all burn in a paint fire.. just through the paint fire part in for fun:)

If you buy it then they might order more fish. it might be better if you let the fish perish for the good of its species.

And even if the fish dies, they are just gonna throw it away and get more fish

here in my town of MI they take really care of the fish

I know this is off topic, but since we are talking about wal mart.....
They take out life insurance policies on their employees with health problems and collect when they die, not giving ANY money to the family. Just shows it's not only fish they don't care about.
