  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i don't mind the log thing. i'm in to wolfish and they can just lay there forever. i was just curious if anybody had a more active attu or wyckii.

those things are hardcore!

yea those cats are badass but i've pretty much narrowed my choices to attu or wyckii.

I dont know which one is cheaper but I believe the mystus is going to be easier to find. I know I have seen wallago for $60 at the cheapest and thats @ 6"

Another thing I just gave away two of my fish that were in the tank with my wallago and go figure he is now super active constantly swimming around and seems a lot more personable.

I see wyckii a lot more than I see attu.

glad to hear that. gives me hope for a personable cat

I have what i think is a wyckii. Its that, a red tail or a numerus but is albino so hard to tell. It has a long tail streamer which the others dont have so i think its wyckii. He is about 8" maybe 10" and is fairly active. Ide say he swims around 25-50% of the time unless he has a stuffed stomach. Tank is dimly lit though and has lots of driftwood in it.
Isnt half as agressive as what i thought either although i guess hes not that big yet. At the moment he lives with a 10- 12" Jardini (i suck with sizes), an ornate pictus and another few small things in a 180 and they have the occasional fight but no skinning fish alive like i have read. He def doesnt back down though when challenged.
