They say that because people spend about 30 bucks (on average) on other crap when they bring the fish back. I'm convinced that they intentionally sell bad/sick fish HOPING that they will die and be returned.I just love when the employees at these places say, "well if it does die just bring it back for a refund"...........etc............

I was at Wal-Mart about a week ago buying frozen shrimp for my lionfish and out of habit I stop by the fish section. When I looked at the labels for the fish it seems as if none of the information on the card was correct. They labled a gray bichir as some sort of eel and wrote that a Silver dollar would only grow to 3 1/2 "! I just wish once someone with any aquarium background further than having eaten a fish stick once would run things around there!
LOL I dunno ask Neo he the one that does t-shirts. We suppose do have some soon but I dunno details >_<
Wow, it's already time for another "WAL-MART SUX!!!!!!111" thread? Yeah, they have a ton of misinformation. Yeah, their fish don't look healthy. But it's America, home of free enterprise. Complaining on a messageboard isn't going to change the fact that they don't give a damn about the fish they sell. Complaining to Wal-Mart itself won't change anything either. This is one of those battles that the little guy won't win. Let it go.
I had one of their people tell me that African Dwarf Frogs eat Algae and I do not need to feed them. Never heard of a frog that is omnivorous
