uninformed non-aquarists will probably believe walmart's signs more than something that looks written on by someone

I dunno, they'll probably think in an employee wrote it in to correct it.

I've seen employees write in the correct lengths when customers complained at Petsmart and Petco.

Whats even worse is, how many people who buy fish at walmart can actually house a pacu. I'm thinking the percentage is way less than 1%. MFK is the exception, but most people don't have easy access to aquariums over the 100 gal range. Pacus should not be sold at walmart.

When I was working 3rd shift at our Wal-Mart, they were in the process of taking down their fish section of the pet department because it wasn't bringing in the $5000 it cost to upkeep it.

I got some fish at Walmart and when they were rung up, instead of 2 or 3 @ whatever price, they just charged for the first one of each.

I was looking at the info cards in the pet section of the local Walmart today. They had red bellied pacus maxing out at 10 in, but they had the oscars listed as 15in. and common plecos at 20. How can they be reasonably close on some and totally clueless on others?

hopefully well-meaning people stop "rescuing" fish from walmart and just boycott so it gets to the point that they stop selling fish, which has happend at stores in many parts of the u.s.

I thought wako-mart stopped selling fish? the ones here only sell low end & small scale supplies now?

No fish & no snack bar
