WOW how many moron, idiots did i read in this thread ? As much as I would love to see this die I just have to say shame on you guys . I mean did all you guys wake up great fishkeepers? How many people come to this site looking for help and end up never posting again cuz of fear of " flaming" . Give the guy advise and let it go , no need for namecalling . I started with a oscar in a 29 gal but with the help of people from this site i grew and if this guy is serious so will he but will never ask another question if hes being called a moron .

Well isn't it common sense that people should do research first before buying a Oscar in the first place?That is what I did for a research on a Oscar,before going out and buying one.So of course the guy is going to get criticized for his first mistake of buying two Oscars to put into a 10 gallon tank.People think just by going cheap on a tank,that a fish can live in it forever.If a person can't afford the right size tank to meet the requirements of just two Oscars alone,then no one should get into this hobby.Its going to be the same concept of owning any animal in general.

Couldn't agree more with you on the post,we are not being morons about this post,we are giving better advice and figuring out why did he even bother buying 2 Oscars for a 10 gallon tank.If someone is truly serious about fish keeping, would realize it takes common sense to figure it out that a Oscar is not a guppy.

To the OP, why not just put them in your 150g and call it a day? They would do a lot better in that then your 10g.

not to hijack the thread, but can one oscar live in a 55 gallon by itself for life?

The controversy between your question will get mixed answers, but it would be better if you have a 75G but yea I suppose so if you do a lot of water change and just do a bit more maintence.

you should get bigger tank now i had one 3" Oscar in a 10 gallon for a little bit its very messy

well maybe if you read my post i called noone an idiot or moron I leave that up to the arrogant folks that believe they know it all , google search p-bass half the results lead you to MFK you guys can flame all ya want i dont care!! but why insult people ?
