Yeah since sweden are flooded with channas in the hobby you cant get them sold. Ive given away maybe 100 frys just to get rid of them?Respect!

Haha yeah it would. I havent heard of anyone succesfully bred them in europe and i havnt seen any fry for sale anywhere. Only big specimens and they cost you your right armIf is channa barca, should be different story lol

I kept aurantimaculata in southern India, i live in a place where summer temps are 38-40 deg celcius.
India is a tropical country.
Are you sure , Your aurantimaculata got cloudy eyes due to high temperature, could it be for some other reason.
I have kept an aurantimaculata only once.
Yes they're from north india, i got confused about the catch locale.theyre from assam which is north india, which had cold temps.
check tonights bramaputra river temp and see
