To me it's no different than a guy who gets charged for the death of his passengers while driving intoxicated. Or what about the classic case of a robber suing the homeowner for getting hurt trying to break in? Or better yet, a homeowner getting charged with murder for shooting an intruderModest_Man;4669840;4669840 said:So someone commits a felony (any crime where they can go to jail for exactly one year or more) and someone else dies during the felony they get charged with murder?
Now, I'd love if thieves got their hand chopped off for stealing. But for getting charged with murder when you didn't kill (or even have any intent to kill) anyone just seems dumb.
Criminals have too much protection in this modern-day society. It's about time for some payback.
