Wanted to share a personal achievement

I started Sept of 2009 and by Nov 2010 I had lost 100 lbs. After the holidays I stayed at 100 lbs, and now I am back at it again. I still have about 12 lbs to go. Then it is all about toning and replacing fat with muscle. I want to then build strength. I have already switched to more muscle building and strength/toning exercises.

I will be sure to keep you all updated as I progress. I found one of my MFK shirts, so I will get a pic in that soon.
 
nice! alot can be done with the right motivation, and a little healthy eating. i've been trying to quit drinking pop too, but hasnt worked for me yet, and not because im overweight, but its just unhealthy. speaking of which i have a bottle of dr. pepper next to me.. its very tempting right now.
 
Quitting pop was easy. I also stopped drinking anything carbonated (with one exception guys night out once in a while) so no pop, energy drinks, fake juices, or anything thing else.. I only drink Milk, water, and once in a while apple, cherry, cranberry, or other all natural fruit juices. These are rarely drank. I only do it once in a while. Also I am not starving myself or anything crazy. I never plan to drink those things again. One day I plan to be a dad and I want to be a good role model for my children. it is hard to tell kids they need to eat well if I am not doing it too.
 
Here is a little fun with pictures. First about two months in, then a year later this past August, and then yesterday.

I have now lost 110 lbs. I am 3 lbs away from my goal. I am adjusting my workout again. Once I nail it down I will post it up. Trying to add some mass to my arms and chest. Still have some toning to do, and waiting for skin to tighten up. Nothing gross, but can tell I have room to tone.

Awesome Mike! Congrats! Keep up the good work. It is inspiring. I have started a life change as well. I am a special ed teacher and need to be a healthier teacher for my students. They need a good example.
 
congrats ! I'm not big but I was letting my self get a lil bit big and 4 months ago started eating better and working out and lost 20 pounds and got some muscle toning going on. It really helps your life to eat better and be healthy. Good for you !
