I'm like HUH?
Mad max was a cool movie but it was a terrible world.

they say "global warming" will cause floods.Well half of australia used to be covered by water so if it is again, is that man made change or just a weather cycle on a bigger scale.I don't care who they are or what qualifications they have.No one can predict MOTHER NATURE .
lol, they still can't even get the 7 day forcast right and we are meant to take notice of a 20 yr forcast.

I'd like for this thread to be closed,
I was just wondering about how people in general feel about it,
things just got a bit too acrimonious
Although must say,
I keep coming back here because the remarks are so funny sometimes

LOL I do log on for advice and to sell fish sometimes but you guys are better than Southpark

Sigh I suppose I will have to work more, throw a few solar panels up when i have the do re me, consolidate tanks, get those freaky lightbulbs,
keep the a/c at 80 in summer, get better insulation, WALK OMG to the grocery store..

and meditate on world peace while sending out good energy to the world

LOL all so

Again, God judges the hearts of men, not men. You can make your silly little "you don't look like a Christian to me" arguments all day to put people down, but if you truly have read the Bible, you know your argument is useless. Since we're on the subject of illusions, here's one for you, how about the illusion of living like there there is no God, taking for granted all the beautiful things in life, music, nature, LIFE itself (I always wondered how atheists explained to their loved ones, how when it gets right down to it, they are no more meaningful to them, than the tree outside). You blindly accept whatever "science" you have been taught, and completly dismiss the fact that every atheist also at some point has to cover over gaps in their "science" with faith. I know its real easy to verbally push people around who may not be as smart as you, but I'll tell you whats easier, pretending God doesn't exist so you can gratify every one of your desires and not have to be held accountable to anyone.

hmm
yoshi
I believe because I have to not because I want to
However, once again I call myself pagan because much of the wrongs I have seen have been justified by religion
So with regards to rules, in the Good Books, some only make sense after you reach a certain point., others were common sense basic hygene
and please remember that most of these books while inspired by something, were written by the hand of man.
To me that means that some may have been influenced unintentionally by the beliefs of those who wrote them
( except in the 10 commandments that was cool)
Also (and my history is poor so bear with me) there was a council of bishops I think in the middle ages that kinda picked and chose what books to keep and what to throw out.
being a pagan heathan whatever i may surprise you but even if i may not believe literally in what we are told by the Bible
Jesus is someone who I truly would have liked to have met
i would also have like to have met the Buddha,
maybe not muhammed but that may be due to my cultural propaganda
By the same token if the literal interpretation is in fact correct, I would take my chances with either of these dieties rather than their followers any time
I believe there is also the phrase milk for babies meat for strong men
so at some point I think Human beings if they are spiritual creatures need to take responsibilty and not just follow blindly along

someone said to me
no man may know the mind of god,
and if you think of the extent and wonder of the universe, how could our minds even encompass it?

yes i have faith that in the end things will work out but, it is our responsibility, to minimize the suffering along the way

JMHO:)
